PROJECT: Liminal Beast of Prey

Liminal Beast of Prey is a queer wrestling performance platform collaborating with a fluid team of multidisciplinary artists. Using storytelling, choreography and combat tricks, they create an idiosyncratic high-energy shows giving the space for narratives that are often unseen and celebrating queer identities.

Liminal Beast of Prey produced three shows which were presented in the context of public space.

Turbocrazy Hannover Combat (2022) was presented as part of #youpromisedmeacity festival dedicated to experimental city development organized by Endboss GmbH in Hannover.

Core of Genesis (2023) was a commissioned work for Künst im Untergrund – Neue Urbane Öffentlichkeiten in collaboration with nGbk Berlin. The show took place at Platz vor dem Roten Rathaus and was open to general public.

It’s ok to cry (2024) happened as part of Constellations – the Bus Tour, a Berlin-wide exploration that celebrates disappeared and displaced sites of queer urban culture.
